Aryan

Aryan held him by the collar, propelled him into the air with a deadly punch and booted him with a fiery kick, landing him into a cart filled with tomatoes. As the latter’s bones crushed despite the comfort of the tomatoes, Aryan thundered, “I am like fire, don’t invite my ire!” The crowd went into frenzy…coins and notes were strewn all over the place. Whistles and thunderous claps nearly brought the roof down.

Manoj was sitting mesmerized, like most others there. Aryan, the undisputed king of filmdom had once again proved that he was superior to the human race. Indeed, even God would shiver in the presence of this superman. The destructor of evil, the prince of paupers, the ace lover and the man with a golden heart – Aryan, the superstar, was a phenomenon.

With his entire defense line plummeted, the minister ran helter-skelter to avert his impending doom in the hands of Aryan. But the master of martial arts (Indian version), with his trademark flying kick, broke the skull of the politician and sent him into permanent coma. Aryan coolly walked away with the hapless minister’s daughter thus bringing the mega and multidimensional episode to a logical and predictable conclusion.

As the crowd slowly started drifting towards the exit and the titles scrolled down on the black screen, Manoj wanted more. He was depressed that such an enchanting and magical journey had to come to an end. He gathered himself up unwillingly and started on the long journey towards home. Thoughts of the Aryan thrashing the skull of the greedy minister loomed largely over his head. The style and power displayed by this master of humankind were endearing.

He finally descended from dream land when he cut across the street to enter the gulli where his little home was located. Strangely, he sighting a crowd outside the house. “What’s going on??” he muttered, his feet catching pace and his heart beats accelerating. He navigated the crowd swiftly and emerged into the house….his straying eyes now focused what lay on the ground, his wrinkled eyebrows untwined, his eyes enlarged, his mind went blank. It was an implausible sight.

Three days had passed and Aryan was released on bail. The freak accident killing the young girl was now forgotten history. Aryan emerging out of the treacherous confinement was a moment to celebrate. His fans crowded him and elevated him from the ground. They garlanded him and paraded him all over the place. The superman was back in action. This time however, Manoj was missing.
